Flower

Well, it’s about time!

Finally got the okay to make this public, so here I am!  Since I’d been waiting for the go-ahead, I really hadn’t updated the ol’ blog in a while.  So many things have been going on lately, but I still found a few minutes to stamp. Here are a few of my favorite projects.

That project has a ton of different things, but it all started with this fun chipboard LOVE by Making Memories. You can find it in my friend Joy’s store here, but I purchased mine at a cute little scrapbook store in Round Rock, Texas, when I drove up for lunch and some shopping with my friends Beverly Gerard and Suzanne Heinrich. We had such a blast that day, and I was so excited to do something with my chipboard as soon as I got home from the trip to Houston the next weekend.

You can see more details in my splitcoast gallery, as well as a listing of supplies used.

Cards for my downline:

I pretty much get by in cardmaking with a few basic layouts. This one of those “old reliables” that always looks good, no matter what. That kind of layout makes it easy to whip up a stack of cards and actually get them in the mail!  I created these with a new Stampin’ Up! set (as well as the new Round File Tab punch) that will be available to all in the Spring Mini Catalog in March.

I’m really excited when I get new stuff to play with. So far, I have boxes and boxes of things that I have yet to play with, and packages that have never even been opened. One of the things I keep telling myself is that I actually need to USE what I buy, and really, I am trying!

Tonight, we have a program to attend. First grade is singing and dancing. . . big fun! Hopefully when I get home, I’ll be able to read up on what Julie, Sara, and Daven have been up to at CHA in Anaheim.  Check out the blog here . . . . and make sure to with Julie a Happy Birthday!

Hi Jenn! I saw on AmyR’s blog that she visits yours, so came by to see what you have been doing.
I love all the new stuff in the spring mini and this card is wonderful!!
I am TERRIBLE at hoarding stuff! My New Year’s resolution is to start using all that stuff I have, esp all the stuff I have bought to alter-I have a box FULL of that kind of stuff!
