Hoppy Spring!

Aren’t they just cutest little things you’ve ever seen?

When I saw the sneak preview over at My Favorite Things, I knew I had to have this set! Kim was great to “talk” to, and I got them right away! This was the first card I created with the fun stamp set which includes a buncha cute images on a 4″x6″ sheet. They’re clear stamps, so stamping the sentiment exactly where I wanted it was so easy!

I started with a regular sized Pixie Pink card, and stamped the two Easter eggs all over. It looked a bit empty, so I added the bitty egg (markered with Pixie Pink marker since it’s in the middle of a little scene) here and there. I cut a strip of this super cute KI Memories “Summer Dot” patterned paper, and adhered it to a scalloped strip (Paper Bouquet self-adhesive strips from Target), then adhered the whole shebang to the card. I snipped some of the cute orange satin ribbon I found at Michaels, and adhered that over the polkadots.

The little scene was stamped in Palette Noir from Stewart Superior (Kim carries that in her store, too!) ink on confetti white cardstock, and colored with Copic markers and a bit of watercoloring with dye ink. I punched the scene out with the Marvy Mega circle punch, added Stickles here and there, and adhered that to a Pumpkin Pie scalloped circle (Marvy Giga), tied some more orange ribbon and some rickrack, and then attached that piece to the card with dimensionals. The sentiment was stamped with Palette Noir, and the card was done. Super cute, if I do say so myself!

I can’t wait for spring to come and STAY!  Yes, it brings pollen that makes my family sick, but the flowers! Oh, they’re so pretty!  Already I can smell the Texas Mountain Laurels . . . can’t wait to snap some pics this weekend!

Jenn… your link to the stamp site on this item is not working. It routes back to you. I noticed you’d tacked on the stamp site to your site so maybe that’s the issue.:) Love ya! Cristen
