Bliss

Sometimes, it’s not so easy to find! Lately, I’ve been really busy doing some much needed spring cleaning, and finally I had a chance to play. Read: someone special asked me for something for her newly organized stamp room, and I *had* to go play! Don’t want to let someone down, right? She mentioned some paper that she’d picked up, and I happened to have the same stuff. Here’s a little peek at what I did with it. . .

framegeeta.jpg

What I started with: 8×8 ish unfinished corkboard frame from Michael’s, Mod Podge, clear dimensional mounting adhesive
Papers: Lily Kate (Mia) and Oh Baby! Girl by Basic Grey patterned paper, Bashful Blue cardstock
Other stuff: May Arts dotted organdy, Stickles, Marcella by K self-adhesive rhinestones from clearance area at Target, Silver charm from Michael’s (old, from my stash), Silver cord from SU!, Chipboard heart from SU!, BLISS letters are self-adhesive Heidi Swapp, also from my stash

Now, all I have to do is finish part two, then I’ll show the whole shebang. I also stamped a card with the new Rubber Romance stamps from Joy & Daisy. . . y’all have got to go see these fun girlies! I’ll share that tomorrow!

OOOH! and before I forget! We’re getting ready to celebrate the one year anniversary of the Weekly Inkling. Do y’all subscribe to the SCS newsletter? If not, you should run over and sign up now! One of the things that’s been keeping me busy is helping Sara, our Ad Manager, get sponsors lined up for next week’s anniversary issue. So many wonderful companies have donated prizes. Only subscribers are eligible. . . and believe me, you don’t want to miss out on having a chance to win the stuff we have! Watch for the banner ad on splitcoast to see who’s lined up!

Thank you for sharing this -for me, it breathtakingly beautiful! And follow your “Bliss” is the theme I’ve chosen for all things dear to me. I’ve noticed ‘Dream’, “Create’, ‘Inspire” and “Wish” in shots of other people’s craft spaces.. but “Bliss’ says it all for me. Can’t wait to see how much more beautiful this gets.

    lucky, lucky recipient!
