Flowery cards

Here are a few cards I’ve made lately that have made me (and hopefully the recipients!) happy. I’ve been trying to actually send the things that I make out, and it feels good! I encourage all of you to do the same. Make a card or ten, and put them in the mail. Make someone’s day or week. You never know if they need just the kind of pick-me-up you can fit into an envelope!

Flowers and Flourish is one of those sets I wasn’t sure I needed, and it ended up jumping on my order at the last minute. Hey, it has coordinating patterned paper and funky petals. . .how could I pass it up?

This one was made for a friend’s birthday, and then I ended up giving it to my mom so she could give it to her friend. I hear it was a hit! Layout’s from Beate.

First card:

Ink: Groovy Guava, Purely Pomegranate

Paper: Groovy Guava, Purely Pomegranate textured, Whisper White

Accessories: Rhinestone brads, Stampin’ Dimensionals, Paper Piercing Tempate & Tool, White Gel Pen

Second Card:

Stamps: Baroque Motifs, It’s Your Birthday

Ink: Blue Bayou, River Rock

Paper: Blue Bayou textured, Brocade Background patterned paper, Old Olive, Sahara Sand

Accessories: Pretties kit, Sahara Sand taffeta ribbon, Ticket Corner Punch

Final Card:

Stamps: Garden Whimsy, Friendship Flowers

Ink: Tempting Turquoise, Basic Black

Paper: Lovely Lilac, Tempting Turquoise, Shimmery White, Flowers for You patterned paper
Accessories: Marvy Scalloped Oval punch, Coluzzle, Olive wide grosgrain, Stickles, 1/8″ handheld punch

Family Frame:

Adrianna actually put this one together for my mom’s new office. I’m so proud! She even painted Chan’s shirt with a camo pattern!

Stamps: All in the Family, Family Accessories, Headline Alphabet, Stamp of Authenticity, Define Your Life, Straight Up Alphabet & Priceless (on tag)

Ink: Palette Noir, Cool Caribbean, Tempting Turquoise

Paper: Shimmery White, Tempting Turquoise Palette of Prints

Accessories: Aquapainter, Watercolor Wonder crayons, metal edged tag, turquoise organdy from florist supply, orange polkadotted is May Arts from starlitstudio, glittery Mod Podge. Edges were painted using an Adirondack paint dabber in Sunset Orange.

    I just love all your cards and the All in the Family frame is just the cutest!! I love that set and hope to get it and the accessories soon!
