Flower

Sure, it’s early. . .

Everywhere we look, there’s Halloween stuff out on the shelves. Including mine! I’ve never been big on Halloween, but since we live pretty close to all of my husband’s family (and mine drives in often) and have a “party house” in a neighborhood where the good candy is handed out, everyone gathers here for a potluck dinner before going out to beg for candy. Little by little, I’ve started buying cutesy spooky stuff to dress the house for fall and Halloween. We’ve been decorating a Doodlebug house, and will share when it’s finished. In the meanwhile, here’s another banner. . . one that no longer lives here at my house:

It was hard to get a good picture, but I like this one ’cause it shows all the pretty ribbon. I think I might need to make another. . . it looks good there on Grandma’s old China cabinet!

Since that one was so glare-y, I snapped individuals of each letter (somehow forgetting the first pennant):

Here’s a detail of the Frankenstein dude:

Fun project, and pretty easy to figure out what supplies were used. Let me know if you have questions, and I’ll edit this post to include what was used.

Have a great week, everyone!

And before she bugs me to play along. . . . .

Very cute banner! My hubby and kids love Halloween; I could take it or leave it. I think I’m going to pick up one of those Doodlebug houses and fun paper to let the kids decorate and maybe a banner too! Thanx for the inspiration!

Love your banner! what supplies did you use and was it hard/time consuming to do? I didn’t like banners when I first saw them, but I think I’m about to climb on the banner band wagon. 🙂 Mint chocolate chip Snickerdoodle, huh? And I thought my gansta name was wimpy! (Rocky Road Blonde Brownie).

Love your blog! I check it every day!

WOW!!! Just love it…It is so adorable. I just love your site and I visit all the time. Did you use chipboard for your triangles? Also, I am assuming that you used the slit punch to make the scallops….Way to go…I love your stuff.
