The day after Halloween, Adri woke up and before she even said, “Good morning!” I heard, “Mom, there are only 29 days until my birthday! Then after my birthday there are 23 days until Christmas!” She’s got it alllll figured out! We’ve been working on our version of this project the past couple of nights, and finally finished it today.
I purchased 24 kraft boxes from my local packaging store, and the two of us spent the first night painting the tops green and the bottoms red with Making Memories paint.
Once the paint dried, we glued rectangles of Basic Grey Figgy Pudding to the tops and created tags with white cardstock. We used a new Martha Stewart punch and the SU! ticket corner punch, stamped numbers with red ink, then tied the tags to the boxes with different ribbons.
I don’t know if we’ll tack the boxes to the wall like Ali Edwards, or E6000 magnets to the back and put them on the fridge.
We’ll see. . . . and we’ll see y’all tomorrow on the SCS homepage for tomorrow’s tutorial!

What will you put inside those little boxes? It’s cute!
This is so incredibly awesome!! I haven’t been to Ali’s site in awhile, so I had missed this. I LOVE your version and your helper is sooo cute! I need some help, can you send her over my way?!
“Kraft Boxes” What are those?
Would I just go into like the post office or like a fed ex or kinkos and ask for Kraft Boxes?
