I’ve gotten several emails asking just how to make one of these pennant banners and have kinda given sketchy instructions . . . until now!

This banner used one sheet of Figgy Pudding patterned paper for the pennants, and part of another for covering the chipboard letters. They’re layered on Stardream Metallic Bronze cardstock, and trimmed with Fiskars scalloped scissors. The wide chocolate ribbon the pennants are attached to, as well as the artichoke and red narrow grosgrain, are from Stampin’ Up! The luscious scalloped red velvet ribbon is from Creative Cafe and I bought it at my local scrapbook store. I punched tiny holes at the tip of each pennant and used some gold cord from my stash to attach little jingle bells. They still looked naked, so I added more red grosgrain.
The pennants have some red acrylic stones glued on, as well as holly punches beneath the glittered, paper covered chipboard letters (from SU!). I meant to give this to Beate, but think it’s going to need to stay here!
