and a new me. That’s what we all say, right? This year seems to be off to a great start. It’s 10 am, and I’m sitting here while the kids are cozied up with the dog and watching a movie. Mike’s off at work making sure everything’s going to be okay for the freezing temps tonight. I think when he comes home we’re heading down to my hometown for some traditional New Year’s Day stuff. Playing Scrabble, hanging out. . . pretty much what we did last night. Or maybe we’ll just stay here. Who knows. One of the things I want to work on this year is having more unscheduled time. We’ll see how that goes!

Well, here’s how it’s gone *so* far. It’s now almost noon, and I did go shower and put on some okay-to-go-out-in-public clothes, and then came back here to check on the Color Challenge. It made me thing of this new paper I picked up at my local scrapbook store the other day, so of course, I had to do it! Looks like maybe we won’t be going anywhere today after all!
Stamps: border at bottom is from A Beautiful Thing from the new SU! catalog, and the cute chick is from the Imaginisce For Peep’s Sake Collection – I think I bought all of the ones the LSS had!
Paper: Taken With Teal, Certainly Celery, Whisper White. Polkadotted paper is Cerise from SU!, floral paper is Autumn Leaves Mod.
Ink: Palette Noir, Taken With Teal
Accessories: Acrylic circle is from my stash, ribbon from SU!, “hi” glittered letter stickers from Making Memories’ Valentine collection (from last year . . . have you seen this years? I already bought a bunch of it, too!)

Today I was woken up at 9:30 a.m. by a call from Rick. He made it allright but still hasn’t slept more then 3 hours since he left on the 30th. Poor guy!

like your card and i’m wondering if you’ve had a chance to work with the flowers that go with the centers you stamped at the bottom of your card. can’t get those in the center of the flowers to save my life, and don’t own the stampamajig. any suggestions?
