My everything, my sketch interpretation

I’ve been doing a lot more scrapbooking then cardmaking lately, and for good reason! Look at all the beautiful products that are everywhere. How can you leave it there on the shelves, all lonely and unused? And why aren’t there more things to use for BOY pages? Sigh!

I pulled some stuff off of my shelves for this week’s sketch from Beate.

Make sure to check on Beate, Cami, Charmaine, Laurie, Lori, MaryJo, and Sharon. I’m sure they have wonderful, wonderful things to share!

Details & supplies after the page break if you’re interested. . . .

Cardstock: Making Memories Noteworthy line. I used the postage stamp edged die cut cardstock and the pretty lace flower, both from the Hillary collection. I also used Chocolate Chip cardstock and a Lil’ Davis chocolate tag envelope from my stash. The chipboard butterfly is covered with some random patterned paper from my stash.

Ink: Palette Burnt Umber to stamp heart and words from “Always” stamp set. The hidden journaling has the “you mean everything to me” sentiment stamped on it.

Accessories: Chipboard butterfly is from Jenni Bowlin (no longer on her site), glittered letters are from Doodlebug, chocolate and ivory ribbon as well as silk flowers are from SU!, and the luscious Noteworthy collection glittered jumbo brads, floral jumbo pebble brad, and photo corners from the box of glittered diecuts. There are random green Swarovski crystals adhered to the heart & photo corners, too. I also used Stardust stickles.

This is just beautiful. I love the way you used the ribbon on the bottom of the page. Your daughter is a very beautiful young lady. She looks just like you. Thanks for sharing. I have not scrapbooked in a very long time. I decided I would try a couple of pages this weekend as well. I finished my first one today, now I just need to find the pictures I want to use on the page.

Wow this is gorgeous – I’m glad you shared the close-up of your embellishment, I didn’t realize just HOW beautiful it was until I clicked for more! I would love to sit and look through your scrapbooks, they must be amazing! And a question if you have a minute – how do you adhere your crystals?
