Life is just a bowl of cherries!

lockhartcherries.jpg

I’m blogging from my cozy bed, have a clean stamp room filled with all kinds of pretty things I mostly love to look at, my small swap complete and ready to mail to Jami, kids getting their own breakfast and getting themselves ready for their belt promotion ceremony (brown/black! oh my gosh!), and a date scheduled for this evening. It’s Mike’s birthday, and Red and his boys (and maybe Noey if she’s not working?) going to come over and hang out with the kids so that Mike & I can have a dinner out. Good friends are such a blessing, aren’t they? That leads me to something I wanted to mention. . .

. . . I’ve met so many wonderful people (and quite a few of those in real life) through splitcoast. I’ve learned so much from everyone who shares in the forums and gallery, and my heart is happier because of real-life friendships made there. Behind the scenes, there’s always a lot of work going on to make sure things work well, that questions are answered, and that it’s a place you want to continue to visit for inspiration and to call home. If you’ve ever thought, “hey, I have an idea!” or “I’d like to tell them how I feel about ___”. . . now’s your chance! We’ve posted a survey that will run through next week, and would love to hear from you. Read Daven’s original message here, then take a few minutes and share your thoughts and opinions with us. It’s quick, painless, and we appreciate your input!

This little bitty card was easy to make in multiples. My mom needed a few tags for gift bags, and I remembered Sharon showing us how to make scalloped folded note cards in Portland (the reason I bought all the Nestabilities to begin with!) and whipped these out quickly. So easy I might just have to use those dies more, lol!

Stamp: Lockhart Cherries

Ink: Palette Noir + Copics + Spica Pens

Cardstock: Shimmery White, Real Red

Accessories: Nestabilities, Red & White Gingham, Silver Stickles
