Too kind in two colors.

Ivory really doesn’t count, right? 🙂 Here’s my take on Beate’s weekend sketch challenge. I’m off to check out Beate, Cami, Charmaine, Laurie, Lori, Mary Jo, and Sharon to see what they’ve been up to in their stamp rooms. . . what a way to start the day!

I started out trying to make a scrapbook page with some KI lace cardstock, and the colors I pulled together were too bright even for me! So. . . that got shoved off to the side, and I made this, starting with a piece of patterned paper that was peeking out of my scrap pile. I’ve really been loving green the past several months, and surprisingly, the stack of green patterned papers is much larger than my pink stack! I think I need to remedy that!

Here are the details if you’re interested.

Stamps: Thanks With Style from Kitchen Sink Stamps

Ink: Chocolate Brilliance, YG63 Copic marker to color in the Y

Paper: SU! Chocolate Chip, both sides of Collage Press Seeds “Mums”, Poison Ivory

Accessories: Bazzill Petal Pushers in brown, Kaiser self-adhesive rhinestones, May Arts ribbon (’cause sometimes a bouquet needs a lime green bow), Nestabilities (rectangles plain & scalloped), lots of pop-dots

Have a wonderful weekend!

eta: I just swapped the pic for one taken this afternoon. Middle of the night posts mean dark pics! Now you can see all the greenness, LOL!
