My Caller ID Friend & Elvis

Adri knows many of my friends from Caller ID, and the other day, we were paging through the latest PaperCrafts magazine, and who did we see on several pages? Lori Craig! She said, “OH! I know her from Caller ID! She’s your Caller ID friend!” I had to call Lori and let her know how excited my girl was to see a friend’s name in print. I was pretty excited, too! Good stuff!

Anyway, we were pulling out all the stops today, cranking out graduation invitations for a cousin, birthday party invitations for my niece. . . just lots going on today. Adri wanted to make an Elvis card with my new Cornish Heritage Farms stamp (dude, they ship fast! I ordered Tuesday and had them Friday!), and when Lori called earlier, she said she was gonna play with Elvis today, too. WHAT FUN! So, we popped in one of her favorite movies, Blue Hawaii, and got to stampin’. Here’s Adri’s creation – Elvis goes tropical. Of course, we had to have rhinestones and sparkle, ’cause what Elvis creation would be complete without some bling?

My baby stamped, glittered, rhinestoned, and put the flowers on, then took her own pictures for the ol’ blog. I’m a proud momma!

Stuff: Turquoise from SU!, Green is Basic Grey, Pink glittered cardstock is Doodlebug, Rhinestone swirls and orchids are by Prima. Random greeny-blue glitter from my stash was adhered with a Tsukineko Glue Pad.

Not to be outdone by her granddaughter, my mom stamped, too!

Maybe tomorrow *I* can stamp! 🙂 Thanks for any kind words for Adrianna – she loves to stamp and scrapbook with me, and this is the first time she’s wanted to blog about it! Hope you’re having a great weekend!

Adri, I love the bright colors! I have three girls (all in their 20’s now) and they don’t like to stamp with me! Your mom is LUCKY and BLESSED to have a stampin’ girl! I have a new little granddaughter too! Maybe when she’s a little older, she’ll like stampin’ with Grammie (that’s me!).

You are so lucky that your family stamps with you! I only hope that one day my sweet little 5 year old will be into stamping as much as I am!!! YAY for Lori — I need to go visit her, it has been awhile!
