Not feelin’ it this week. . .

Beate’s sketch for this week was a doozy for me. I have all of this patterned paper, all of these stamps, and really want to make something with it, but couldn’t make this sketch me. Maybe this week’s just worn me out. I dunno. . .I tried different color combos, different papers, and finally asked my husband to give me some colors to use and went from there. Here’s one of three that I tried, and the only one that I’m okay showing!  I have no plans for the weekend besides conquering the cluttery living room (still in purge mode here) . . . and conquering this sketch!

I thought that the outline/solid images on this patterned paper would look great with Pine’s first Papertrey stamp set (Rustic Branches), and for the most part, it does! Maybe the scallops are too much, I don’t know. This stamp set was a must have for me – I love different wreaths on my doors and love the simplicity of the images, but most of all, loved seeing the sparkle in Pine’s eyes as she talked about her coming release when I got to see her in Chicago earlier this summer. So cool to see a friend do something that is just right for her. I’m so proud!

Okay. . .gotta run!  I’m sure you’ll find tons of fabulous stuff when you visit Beate, Cami, Charmaine,LaurieLori, Mary Jo & Sharon.

See y’all later!
