For the past couple of CHAs, Splitcoaststampers has hosted a little shindig for our advertisers, site volunteers, and designers. We started out smallish last year and this year, we filled up a ballroom with fabulous people. My roommate & coworker Lori did a great job getting everything organized. I have to tell you. . .reading her blog post for today cracked me up and made me all verklempt at the same time. It was a few short years ago (in 2003!) that Beate and I met over the internet (she was a lonely demo in my home town, and I wanted a friend to stamp with) and she told me about Splitcoast (“It’s really little, but it might become something. We should upload!”). I took her advice, and every day I am grateful for that. I have met so many wonderful, wonderful ladies and have dreamy job that I adore, all because of Splitcoast. Amazing.
Enough with the blahblahblah and on to a few pictures from that night.

Where is Daven’s wife? I always think of her and wonder since I thought SCS started as her downlone communication and now I am not aware of seeing or hearing from her.
