And so did this week’s sketch!Β I had a lot of fun making these birthday cards. I’ve had both of these stamp sets since CHA in Orlando, and finally got a chance to ink ’em up. I’m so glad that I did. Now, I have two adorable cards for two adorable kids celebrating birthdays. I just need one more, and I’ll probably use the same sketch for that one, too.Β I still have a few hours before I neeeed it, though. . . I have plenty of time, right? π
First, I made one using The Botz Family from Our Craft Lounge.Β I freed some Hambly acetate, some random sticky-backed glitter paper, and those random little silver stick-on thingees from the piles of *stuff* that I unearthed while Splitcoast servers were being wonky. Oh, how I adore this card! Definitely thinking this is my most favorite card that I’ve made in a while!
But then I made one this one with The Poppies from My Favorite Things.
And whenΒ I finished, I gushed to myself that THIS is probably my favorite card ever. That I made today. This one combines some new with some old. (Core’dinations cardstock, some October Afternoon (new stripey paper), some Scenic Route (old dotty paper), some Nestabilities (had those for a while), some Kaiser rhinestones (have had those for a while), some Making Memories ribbon (who knows how long I’ve had that ribbon in my stash), and my Martha Stewart double scallop punch (just bought it Sunday and unwrapped it today! Yeah, me! for using new stuff!).
Okay, now that I’ve blabbed your ear off this morning, let me share some links that you’ll want to check out while you’re enjoying your mornin’ Joe.
You can find the sketch on Beate’s blog here, then see what she made, too. Cami, Charmaine, Laurie, Lori, Mary Jo, and Sharon ALWAYS have beautiful stuff to share, so go see what they did with the sketch. Have a wonderful weekend, everyone.

And what an adorable rockin’ chick with all her bling!
