Thank You Mum.

Or maybe a Thank You for my Mom?  She ends up taking thank you and birthday cards from my stash most often, and I think she’ll be happy with this one.

Have you seen sweet Julie‘s pretty mums?  I ordered as soon as they were available, they shipped the same day, and there they (along with some of that absolutely delicious damask shimmery couture cardstock) were in my mailbox on Monday. And since they were still on my desk, it was only right that I used them for today’s card. I love the way the Copic coloring looks on the Core’dinations cardstock. Almost like an oil painting.

The card’s simple, and I resisted getting the sewing machine out and adding stitches around the blocks, but now that I look at it again, maybe I will. . . .

You’ll find the sketch here, and what are sure to be pretty, pretty things over at Beate, Cami, Charmaine, Laurie, Lori, Mary Jo, and Sharon‘s blogs.   Go check ’em out, and enjoy the beautiful weekend!
