A Perfect Package

perfectpkg004.jpg

When sweet Taylor issued a little friendly challenge to decorate a Perfect Package to hold a set of cards or use it to wrap a holiday gift, I thought, “Hey! What a great idea!” and then pushed everything aside for a while (as I seem to do with most everything crafty lately). . . and after a wonderful Thanksgiving dinner at my aunt’s house, I took a nice looong nap, and then woke up a little freaked out that I hadn’t started on this project yet.  No matter. . . these boxes are super easy to put together and decorate!

Just assemble the box, cover with patterned paper, and go! I added a plain white panel with popped-up cupcakes from the For the Love of Cupcakes set. They were stamped in Palette Noir and colored with Copics. I added Tiny Twinkles with my quickie glue pen.

The box started as packaging for a gift for my daughter’s 10th birthday, but I think I’m going to keep the box for myself as it holds 4″ x 6″ pictures perfectly. I need to order a few more, and now’s the perfect time. . .
