My dude stamped.

and did some Copic coloring after school on Friday . . . . all to help Mom with a blog post. 🙂 Today’s challenge on the Kraftin’ Kimmie blog is all about the dudes – we were to have a dude we know make a card using some of Kimmie’s stamps. I asked my favorite thirteen year-old dude if he’d help and I’m a little surprised he did. He just wanted to make sure I never put a picture of him coloring on Facebook. . . he didn’t say anything about me posting a picture on my blog, though! 🙂

Kraftin’ Kimmie Curtis (comes with cute sentiment!) was stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black and colored with Copics. The denim texture was added by soaking a piece of denim with Colorless Blender and then just pressing it into the colored overalls.

He adhered the stamped image to some blue paper he pulled out of my scrap pile and ripped the edges (’cause that looks boy-like) and adhered that to card made of textured green cardstock.

    This card is scroll stopping. The denim caught my attention, awesome work. It’s awesome that your dude wants to craft with you and typical that he doesn’t want is buddies to know.

    I love that Copic is branching out to supplement the different types of markers with more colors. Can wait to new what else they will come with at CHA!
