I’m a proud momma

Adri’s really into watercoloring lately, and when she saw this cute puppy stamp on my shelf, she said, “I need to make a card for SUE! Can I, Mom? Can I color one for her?” Of course, I couldn’t resist!

Sue lives three doors down from us, and we see her every evening when she does her rounds with her dogs. The kids LOVE to see which dogs she has with her, and we see her coming and going. . . twice in order to walk all of her pets! They love to see Sue, and will roll down the car windows to yell, “Hi, SUE!” when they see her. Her house is up for sale, and Adri “helped” the other day by taping flyers to the fence when Mike was out doing yardwork. She wanted to make sure people knew the house was available!

Anyway, Adri chose the colors and ribbon, cranked the Cuttlebug handle to pressure emboss the saffron piece, stamped the image (it helps to cut the cardstock to the size of the stamp block for easy placement) and then watercolored it. I helped by putting it together and tying the ribbon.

I think this card will make Sue’s day when Adri delivers it on Sunday morning! It made my day to see my sweet girl spending time to make a card with stuff that she thinks that her friend will love. She’s a thoughtful little girl!
