They did it! Three guys, a lot of wood, fabric, foam, tools, and about a full day of work, and the first table’s finished. This one is going to be a birthday gift from brother-in-law John (middle guy) to his brother-in-law. I think he’ll be very pleased. . . now I just need some mini-cards so I can copycase Julie’s card!
My contribution to the project? Being gopher girl. I got to go for all the velveteen and vinyl and then foam padding! Oh, and supervise from the fringes!
As you can tell, they were proud of the finished product and couldn’t wait to get a game started!
Construction on table two (ours) starts today, so as soon as I pry myself from this computer and stop reading about what’s in the new SU! catalog, I’m outta here to go get cleaned up and ready to go shopping! When I come back, I’ll have some stuff to share, hopefully!

Tell them they did a GREAT job. My friends and I made a octagon shaped one in college and it’s definitely not the easiest thing to do. Bravo to them!!
