Lunchtime card

My mom’s here today, and reminded me that my cousin Monica is turning 40 this weekend. She asked if I’d make a card for her. Nothing too extravagant, but something bold and a little flashy. I got teased a little last night for not using my brayer and brayering techniques learned in Austin a few weeks ago, so I went out to the car, grabbed the brayer, picked out a bunch of inks, and got to work!

That’s two cards in one day, and a weekday at that! I’m just patting myself on the back here!

If you want to know colors, I can go check out the baskets where I keep the Ranger inks and see what’s on top. Anyone know a good way to store those inks?

First off, I love your card. The colors and silhouette images make it pop. 2nd, my go t0 inks are Ranger these days. I have adapted my SU! pad holder to work with my distress pads and Adirondack pads. I just placed a domino in the back of the holder the long way for short pads like distress ones and the short way for full size pads like Adirondack or other brands. Does that make sense? Works for me keeping my old rack but with the colors and brand inks I use now…
