You know how sometimes things are just perfect?

That’s how it was the day I took this picture.

It was hot out, but the wind off the Gulf of Mexico made it bearable. The water was comfortable and clear with no jellyfish or trash or tar or any of those things we’ve seen on past trips to the coast. And the kids . . . the kids were at their finest! Hamming it up for paparrazi mom before they were allowed into the water. Loving each other. This is one of my favorite shots from that day, and when I went to print it, I realized that Chan’s not saying, “I love you” . . . he’s saying “Hook ’em ‘horns!” I’m sure Geeta will appreciate that one!

Anyway, trying to use stuff from my stash (which only got bigger today when I went to Target on the way home!) on this page inspired by one I saw several months ago somewhere online. I sketched the basic layout, but don’t remember where I found it!

Stamps: Doodle This Ink: White Craft Cardstock: Buckaroo Blue & Whisper White. Patterned paper: Just Delightful Scrappin’ kit, Sarah designer series paper. Accessories: Chipboard heart & blue gingham by Stampin’ Up!, Green striped ribbon by May Arts, self-adhesive fabric alphabet by Making Memories.

Oh, this is just adorable. I never have my camera when my son does something adorable like this.
I think that this is what a scrapbook page should be, all about the photo and the memory.

What a wonderful pic of the kids! They look very close. I sure hope as my children age (3 and 4 currently) they are just as close. Thanks for sharing this cute layout. Sure wish I was on the sunny beach right now *lol*

Jenn, what a GREAT picture! One that will remind you of their sweetness for many years to come (and you can bribe them with it later!). I especially love the Hook ’em Horns… I’m sure Mike likes it, too ;)!
